Facejacker will return to Channel 4 for a second series with comedian Kayvan Novak donning the prosthetics once again.
The series, produced by Hat Trick Productions, will see Novak bring back characters such as divorced car salesman Terry Tibbs, scamster Augustus Kwembe and art critic Brian Badonde as well new additions.
Novak will be travelling around the UK as well as taking his characters to the US. C4 head of comedy Shane Allen ordered the second run and said: “Kayvan is an exceptional comic talent, his versatility and instincts are second to none.
“He prolifically adds to his cannon of characters all the time and this second series of Facejacker will see a host of fresh new personas and yet more inspired set ups. I personally love the fact that he’s an incredibly handsome man who has to hide his good looks behind a load of peculiar prosthetics.”
The executive producer is Helen Williams and Tom Thostrup is producer.
Novak first appeared on C4 as Facejacker in April 2010, prior to the terrestrial series, he carved out a loyal following with Fonejacker on E4.
