Default We are coming to get you!

THE BEST way to get in Channel 5’s new Big Brother house is with a Daily Star Golden Ticket.

But do not despair if you do not find one in your paper tomorrow.

Big Brother bosses yesterday revealed there will be wide-open auditions for tens of thousands of wannabes and vowed: “We’re coming to get you!”

They plan to fill two of Britain’s biggest football stadiums, that have a joint capacity of 136,000, during four days of auditions. In June, Channel 5 producers hit Premier League Champions Manchester United’s Old Trafford ground, which can hold up to 76,000 people.

The auditions will last for two days, June 10 and 11.

Then the party hits Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, which can hold 60,000 on June 18 and 19.

Doors will open at 8.30am for fans from the South eager to try their luck. Auditions will be on a first-come first-served basis as the wannabes come face to face with casting executives from Channel 5 and BB programme maker Endemol.

The chosen few will be called to another round of auditions at a smaller, secret location.

During that audition they will be pitted against each other in mock tasks so producers can see how they react.

If they pass the challenge, they move on to the next and final stage in the selection process.

Gavin Henderson, the new Creative Director of Big Brother, said: “We are on the hunt for housemates that will make this an outrageously fun and unforgettable series of Big Brother.

“You know where to be and when, we’re coming to get you.”

Channel 5 boss Jeff Ford added: “It is a really exciting time for us as we scour the country to find the next generation of Big Brother housemates. It really couldn’t be easier to apply this year, all potential housemates need do is turn up on the day to one of these two iconic venues, and do everything they can to convince our casting panel that they have what it takes.

“My message to anyone tempted to apply is go for it, in a few months’ time you might end up a resident in the most famous house in Britain.”

Channel 5’s new-look BB kicks off with an all-star celebrity version in August, followed by the main series featuring the public in September.

The 24/7 live feed will return along with features promising to make it the hottest and raunch-iest Big Brother ever.

Bosses are keeping tight-lipped about what the new house will look like.

And the show’s famous Geordie “voice”, Marcus Bentley, 43, cannot wait to resume his role.

I am confused about the whole Marcus Bentley part.

Only last night he was doing a voiceover for C4. He works for C4.

There has been nothing exactly confirmed about him doing C5? Unless i've missed something.

I won't do Stadium applications. They have my online app and then it would require me a lot of travel to get to an in-person interview. Even that I'd need some kind of assurance it was somewhat serious.

Like most people in the media, he's most likely self employed so can work for whoever he wishes.
