I have just got 5 X Factor audition tickets for Tuesday in Manchester, the tickets are just regular tickets, they are not priority pass or anything like that. The doors open at 12.00pm, does anyone on here have any advice to give me about what time I should get there/how it works etc. It would be much appreciated, thanks

It really depends. If you want to be die hard and get anywhere near the judges you'd need to be there at least 9:00 if not earlier.
Plus, without priority, it's very unlikely you'll be behind the judges or anything like that. They go around early and choose "the good looking ones" to be right behind the judges 'cause they'll be seen on TV a lot. You should arrive at least an hour and a half earlier just to make sure you get in as well.

James what you have just said about picking good looking ones is completely false, it goes priority tickets then they let normal ticket holders in and you will need to be there no later than half nine and you won't be sitting anywhere near the judges but it's such a good buzz and totally worth it you will probably be in the que for about 4/5 hours, anymore questions ask Ian Royce who warms up the audiences for all the big shows on tv here is his twiiter: @officialroycey

So James says I should get there at least an hour and a half before the doors open at 12.00pm, so I should aim to get there for about 10.30am?
And PJ your saying I should get there no later than 9.30am, which is unlikely lol or was that time based on if I wanted to get near the judges - which I don't care about really lol I am thinking about getting to the venue at around 10.00am with my tickets, does anyone think I am sure of getting a place in there if I do that?

James I have been to BGT twice and other shows so I know the game and your crack pot theory about choosing 'good looking' people is wrong.
Toxic get there as early as you can and just join the que and just wait to be let in thats all you can do. |

Obviously you've had different experiences to myself but I have been to BGT 3 times, X Factor 3 times and on two ocassions (once at BGT and once at XF) i've witnessed them scouting the crowd for front row audience members that are "good looking." |
