Default How much do soap stars get paid?
Always wondered this. Is it on like an apperance thing or a lump week sum? Or maybe how popular they become. Never seen any figures for soap lots pay

I think it depends on their age and the amount of episodes they appear in.

Like William Roache who plays Ken Barlow is on something like 200k a year but it's only because he's one of the longest running cast members, others will have more screentime but hella lower wages

Yeah, I think the lowest in corrie is like 20k, which isn't that bad

I think on average they get paid 60 grand a year. It's not as much as you think. But still a lot of money!
