Default BBC3 v BBC4 – which channel is best equipped to avoid cuts?

Paxman Debates with Former CEO Lyons
some time ago.

They are not Full Channels
they show Repeats over and over the same night until shutdown
starting at 7PM.

BBC3 is the Most Repeat Channel ever.

"In the BBC's ideal world, both would exist as they currently are, offering something entertaining and informative for the difficult-to-reach 18- to 35-year-olds, and those who want more arts and highbrow viewing.
But with the recent licence fee settlement, the BBC is having to make tough choices. On 22 September, executives are due to unveil their proposals for making 20% savings, as part of the Delivering Quality First initiative to the BBC Trust.
Along with cutting BBC2 daytime shows and late-night programming, executives are looking at the impact of scaling back some of what BBC4 does."

They both could go for me, rarely watch either of them.

I watch more things on BBC4 but they both show way too many repeats. Although it'd be quite hard to construct a channel that shows Family Guy, Top of the Pops 2, Don't Tell the Bride, Only Connect, 16 and Pregnant and documentaries about the industrial revolution.

I don't really watch either, more of BBC3. The only thing I watch on it is EastEnders repeats to be honest.

What the BBC has on these channels they could easily show on the main 2 channels all they need to do is have less house buying, auction type programmes and it would have loads of space left,Oh and also most of the repeats too, that people have had to pay a licence to watch over decades ago and now are getting them again.

Time the BBC was forced to wake up.It's a pathetic organisation.
