TIBB's RED DEVIL!!!
|
![]() An 87-year-old man was arrested by police after being caught with 228 pounds (103 kilograms) of cocaine. Leo Earl Sharp from Michigan City, Indiana was initially pulled over on Friday (October 21) for an improper lane change and following too closely, reports AnnArbor.com. When the police officer asked to search Sharp's truck, he refused. A dog was then brought in, finding 104 bricks of cocaine hidden in five bags. The total value of the drugs is estimated at $2.9 million (£1.8 million). Sharp claimed at a court hearing that he was forced to carry the cocaine at gunpoint. He was released on bail and is due to attend another hearing next month. His attorney admitted: "This will be my first actual drug case where the accused is this old." Sharp could face up to ten years in prison if charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute.
