Emmerdale has dramatic scenes lined up in a few weeks' time as one character will carry out a shocking act of revenge.

Magazine reports have revealed that one of the village's residents will attempt to settle a score by deliberately starting a fire in a forthcoming storyline.

Details of the characters involved and the location of the blaze are currently being kept under wraps.

However, it is thought that a male character will be trapped in the flames - leading to tense scenes as the danger intensifies…

I think it might be Aaron who starts the fire and Chas is stuck inside, but survives and he goes on the run only because I read they've decided to give him an unhappy exit.

Possibility that Andy might try to get rid of Cameron and he does have previous.

Maybe Cain starts a fire to get revenge at Zak?

Hopefully Aaron is killed off but no doubt they'll leave the door open for their little golden boy.

I've just thought that one of the Barton kids could set fire to Cain's garage for revenge because they blame him for their dad dying and him causing their parents lots of problems and Zak could save a trapped Cain?
