Anybody else a fan of Lissie?


I just love her voice and the whole sound of her music, the above is "When I'm Alone" which is her 'big' debut single. It's just so Summery and happy.

I've been waiting for a new mainstream blues/folk singer so I'm so happy Lissie has come along!

BTW here's her album "Catching A Tiger"

I got her album a few weeks ago, I like it my, faves are "When Im alone" "Bully" & "Little Lovin"

I don't think she'll be as successful here as she is in the US though :/

I just ordered her album, can't wait to give it a run through (or 100).

There's something fascinating about her, magical.

I love how she's SO unglamorous yet so beautiful and her voice is amazing!

She isn't a drama student, she's almost 30 years old and got to where she is now by working her way up from opening act at her university bar/club/whatever.

She's a folk/blues/country singer, not another Diana Vickers.

I don't mind her. Her singing reminds me of Ellie Goulding a bit apart from Ellie's is way better.

So, so happy she's been nominated for a Q Award - "Breakthrough Artist", go Lissie! Glad she's had recognition for her brilliant album. & considering these nominees are representing the past 12 months, Lissie has only been around really about 6 months in the UK so she's made quite an impact!
