Default ****** dead?! [Lost season 4 spoiler, Joe.]

Ok, so i'm not expecting anyone to come in here and tell me all about it but I've just watched season 4 finale of LOST and Locke (Jeremy Benthem) is dead. Was a proper wtf moment? I kinda froze for about 2 mins. Because I was convinced he was one of the guys that the island wouldn't let die after Ben shot him and he survived.

Majorly confused right now haha.. so yeah I just needed to vent. But season 4 is definatly the best season since the first. Anyone know what season 5 is like?

The saddest sight in TV history. Kinda hard to mention anything about the plot of Season 5 without spoiling something, but you'll be in for a surprise or two

Haha I must admit Locke was up there as my favourite character but Sawyer has taken that title after what he did with the helicopter and his relationship with Hurley is awesome.

And the Locke thing is a shocker. I'm just hoping he isn't actually dead. That's possbile, i'm hoping it is anyway haha

Locke is the best character ever to come out of any tv show in the history of the world ever. Him and Benjamin Linus .

But season 4 is good bit wait till you watch season 5 and 6 you will cream your pants

I didn't enjoy season 4 very much. I think part of it was the writer's strike meaning we waited forever between episodes. Rewatching on DVD was much better and I think the best thing about season 4 is the quick pace.

Season 5 for me started off well, albeit confusing, but the second half is where the wheels fell off the car for me.

If you're a Sawyer fan then you may love season 5. It's nicknamed the "Season of Sawyer". Take from that what you will.

It's fine i've seen season 4 and yeah was my favourite season of them all- season one coming second- the season 4 finale is amazing, some fantastic moments- but yeah when Locke was revealed to be Jeremy Bentham I was like wtaf too!

I'm actually watching season 5 episodes 14-18 this evening and then will be onto season 6! Season 5 is okay, I thought for myself it was extremely confusing for the first 8 episodes and then I thought it finally picked up on episode 9 where you sort of get what's going on again(:

I worry that sometimes I don't pick up something and so after I read online bout that particular episode it makes sense. Am I just being stupid or did anyone else have that same issue?

Season 5 gives you all the backstory of what led to his death. So, it's not so much you being thick but having not seen the full story yet.

Yes, I watch the episodes and then go straight to the wikepedia plot breakdowns just to make sure I'm certain on everything because so much happens each episode!

Just watched the season 5 finale- wow- yeah it's extremely confusing for a bit at the start of season 5 but I also watched the recap of seasons 1-5 and the whole of season 5 in that fast recap did look rather epic. What an ending.

Can I just ask. Are you the guy I had that massive argument with back in 2010 which resulted in you calling me the 'milky bar kid' despite me not being blonde? Hahaha.

Anyway I'm glad it's not just me who needs to confirm everything lol

Gotta disagree Joe, not to give any spoiler but I thought the season 5 finale was one of the worst written episodes of the show, if not THE worst.

Through the looking glass is the best finale I've seen so far. Wasn't a fan of the acclaimed episodes 'flashes before your eyes' and 'the constant' but that was probably because of information overload. Will give those anther shot sometime.

I love those two episodes. As you say, they are information overload but it's what makes them such great rewatches. Through the Looking Glass remains my favourite finale of them all, followed by Exodus and LTDA.

I was avoiding any rewatches since the show ended. But it's getting harder and harder lately. lol

I liked it- seasons 4 finale was one of my favourites- the best bits-
-Sun's reaction to Jin in the explosion [what an amazing actress]
-Penny and Desmons reunited

The main thing I didn't like about it was the writing of a lot of the characters. Their actions and motivations weren't believable to me. It gave a very bad aspect of the show too much focus.
Spoiler:

The infamous triangle

I'm confused about 'the triangle'- when does it start coming into play?
