I don't remember sticky moments but I do remember really liking Terry and Julian when I was really young. It was one of them programs that I watched when I was meant to be asleep because it was a school night. I might be wrong but I think it was one of, if not the first sitcom where a character spoke directly to the audience? A ground breaker for the likes of Miranda today.

I read his autobiography 'A Young Man's Passage'. He's wickedly funny. A quote of his I remember reading that made me burst out laughing was "My body is a temple and a frequent place of worship. Entrance is free, but you're encouraged to make a small deposit on the way out".
