Default Ebay waster's

Does anyone else use ebay to sell large items or car's on ebay and had the pleasure of dealing with a total time waster?

they bid on your item, then either don't make contact or make the ridiculous excuse why the cant complete the deal.

this cost's you time and money and the listing fee of up to 15 pounds a time.

the most frustrating thing is, ebay let these waster's get away with it time and time again.

they should at least be made to cover your listing fee that you wont get back.

If you ask them to cancel the transaction you get the fee back anyway. Or open a non paying bidder case, if they don't pay you get your fees back and they get a strike. 3 strikes and they are banned from eBay.

you only get your final payment fee back, not your listing fee, when they get banned they just join with a new ebay account.

you list something for ten days only for some twat to bid at the last moment, they make contact keep you waiting even longer with an excuse only for you to give them an ultimatum and then they say they don't want it, have not got the money, their cat died.

eBay is very frustrating, I sell a lot on there and have had some pretty awful experiences but they are getting better at closing people's accounts who just open new ones. I only tend to sell smaller items so its nnot as frustrating / costly but I have loads of people who buy it now never to pay or just change their mind, or say its never arrived when you know full well it has. If I have bigger things to sell and know what I want for them I tend to use Gumtree. Its free to list on and and cash on collection so you don't lose out then.

its so frustrating, the list of excuses you could put in a joke book,
I broke my arm, I broke my leg, my dad as had a heart attack, my van broke down on the way, but I never bothered to let you know I was coming on a three hour trip.
I have a lot of friends in the car trade that get 2 wasters for every three cars sold.

Have you tried Loot? That's free as well.
