Has anyone seen this? It's a documentary that came out in 2008 about Andrew Bagby, a man who was murdered in 2001:

Just watched the whole thing. Those parents are UNBELIEVABLE. The failings of the justice system were shocking, but at least in the end it sounds like there were some real reforms made so that this can't happen again.
They say the worst pain that a human being can experience is the loss of a child. Imagine losing both your only child AND your only grandchild. Those parents are unbelievably strong to endure it. It was also interesting hearing the grandfather towards the end saying he regrets not killing her when he had the chance, and that he would be willing to go to jail so that the grandmother could raise Zachary.

..this was just so incredibly tragic..they were really let down by the courts and child welfare and they kind of had to go though losing their son twice..an amazing couple and incredible parents/grandparents for that very short time they had their son and grandson in their lives....

So much admiration for them though, and it was lovely to see the huge number of people they had supporting them and giving them nice messages. Just happy that their campaigning resulted in some form of victory in 2010.

..it was just staggering to think that she had 8 injunctions out against her and had tried to commit suicide on her previous boyfriend's doorstep and yet they didn't seem to do any background checks when she was accused of premeditated murder...the grandfather said that he truly believed he had looked into the face of the devil...it was just so sad to see his anger but I'm glad they both managed to channel their emotions into something positive...and also to see how much they were both loved by Andrew's friends was so emotional...
