THE next series of Big Brother is set to be the biggest ever – with bosses lining up a 7ft 1in tall giant as a contestant.

Lydon Sutcliffe, 25, from Halifax, is among the wannabes who have applied to be on this summer’s Channel 5 show.

And not surprisingly, groundsman Lydon, who works at the Wimbledon tennis courts in London, has made a big impression.

He said: “I want to be the first giant on Big Brother.

“I attract the girls because they always ask if my willy is huge too.

“I tell them, ‘If it was in proportion I’d need to be eight foot five’.”

Lydon was one of the lucky few invited to attend auditions at the Elstree TV Studios at the weekend.

This year, potential housemates had to apply online – and out of the thousands who entered, only “the best of the bunch’’ are being invited for interviews.

Other hopefuls at Elstree were “white witch” Phoenix, 22, Australian rocker, Sam, 27, coach firm worker Samantha, 22 – who admits cuddling up to a cardboard cutout of the Call Of Duty soldier – and an Essex “supermodel", Amy.

The wannabes also included father-of-two Kurtis, 31, who was on the BBC show Grange Hill.

He was a pal of Mark Duggan, whose death led to the 2011 Tottenham riots.

He said: “I’ve had some tough times but I’ve turned my life around. Big Brother is my dream.”

And there was Annette Edwards, 61, from Bromsgrove, who claims she holds a Guinness World Record as the oldest Page Three girl.

She teased: “I can show these young ones a thing or two.”

Sam, the 27 year old was a right twat. He started getting all obnoxious because we had the same name. It was the best thing he could come up with to get noticed. The producers must of noticed how desperate it was because he only got to stage two of that part. I've already said too much lol
