Exclamation New Marcus Bentley interview!

Q1: We know the theme for this summer's Big Brother is "Secrets and Lies" - can you give us any hints? Is Big Brother going to be the tougher this year?

A: The only thing I know is that one of the secrets that has been whispered to me is huge!!

Q2: What do you look for in housemates while they are in the house?

A: The producers search far an wide for the right housemates. Amongst other things they look for individuality, entertaining and real , interesting people. I dislike it when housemates have spent the audition process bring "in character" then last 5 minutes being that person in the house then revert to their less interesting selves. I look for people that are real and that are interesting and completely different to previous housemates.

Q3: There have been rumors of an "eco-friendly" house. If true, how will this test the housemates?

A: We've had similar concepts before. In fact for a number of years we had chickens that the housemates looked after for their eggs and vegetable gardened they tended for food. If it's true that the house is Eco friendly hopefully this will encourage the viewers to use their resources in sensible sustainable manners.

Q4: Many fans are calling Emma the next Davina. Do you see that? Or will Emma bring her own unique spin to the main show?

A: Davina is a Big Brother legend and it was a joy working with her for 10 years. She brought her unique style to the show and this made her the star she is. Davina absolutely adored the show and , just like I do , she immersed herself in every aspect of it. The same can be said of Emma. She was always a fan of the show and was frequently a guest on the spin off shows airing her views. She has her own style of presenting which is perfect for Big brother. She is warm, friendly , genuine and caring. She is witty and quick and so comfortable in front of camera that the viewers love her. Big Brother has got a new star.

Q5: How do you feel about Rylan and AJ being the new Bit on the Side presenters?

A: I don't know much about AJ but when she's been a guest on the show she is very watchable. Rylan , well Rylan has the Xfactor. This time last year no one had heard of him and here he is now a star of the Xfactor show , winner of Celebrity Big Brother and now presenter of BBOTS. He'll bring his own unique brand of camp , stylish fun to the show and will be a big hit.

Q6: Live feed will be returning nightly for two hours on 5* - if the ratings are high, do you think the live feed coverage would increase in later series?

A: No idea. But high ratings will mean impressed Channel 5 bosses so, who knows?

Q7: Celebrities have said that they feel like they are on a holiday while they stay in the house. Can we expect the "harsh" Big Brother to continue for the Celebrity series when it returns in August?

A: In my opinion the "Celebs" on Channel 5 have been the best ever. I think that a few more days down in the basement for the likes of Spidey would've been great.

Q8: Twitter question: What did you think of Aaron from Big Brother 2011 as a housemate and him walking out to boos from the crowd as the winner?

A: Aaron was the most controversial winner ever. He played the game , won the girl and didn't care what anyone thought of him. He was exactly the type of individual we need to be introduced to on Big Brother i.e. someone different. Goodness knows how he won but it's great that the public loved his games and plotting and planning. And I'm not surprised that he was booed by some he was a devil at times. The boos are just part of the pantomime atmosphere and I'm sure Aaron embraced them.

Q9: What do you think of this year's eye? It seems to have a darker theme.

A: Have you noticed all the doors? I wonder what they mean ? Perhaps that's where the secrets lie.

Q10: Will the live show have a different feel this year?

A: I'm sure it will with Emma at the helm she'll bring her own style and finesse and the director and designers will adapt around her.

Q11: What can you tell us about the new house?

A: Nothing I have yet to see it. Can't wait to see it though because the design is always so innovative and gorgeous.

Q12: Finally, do you know any more details referring the live stage being revamped? As I recall, you had previously mentioned it was considered being changed.

A: No I haven't got anymore news. I was told that the outside set was being completely redone. However, this was before the new boss at Channel 5 had arrived. Maybe, he has other ideas. We'll have to wait and see.

Suggests that the new C5 boss has considerable creative input on a show made by Endemol/Initial.

At least he's faithful and still loves the show. The likes of George Lamb seemed to have nothing but disdain for it.

Now hold up a god damn minute! If they mold Emma around the Ch5 pop/camp formula I will literally die. Also, I hope they did go ahead with changing the stage's structure, removing the stands and making it more open planned.

You read that completely wrong.

They didn't say they would mould Emma. Marcus said she'll bring her own style and finesse and the director and designers will adapt around her. So basically Emmas in charge.

Its the complete opposite of what you're saying.

Anyway this is a ****e interview, Marcus knows F all and the comment about the house designs allways being innotive and gorgeous? LOL what a joke.

Honestly.

The turning point for me was his CBB8 narration.

"1 Jedward is taking a dip in the pool, the other Jedward is having a heart to heart with Kerry".

What the ****?

Just go away.
