Why is Jackie so obsessed with Callum's VT?

Everyone stopped talking about the VT's ages ago yet she's still obsessed and going on and on about it...

Jackie is doing herself no favours with her little petty squabbles in the house. I think Charlie may be more mature in terms of her attitude toward the experience.

I think it's probably because the shagging 'mother and daughter' thing was a bit too close to home. He had singled Charlie out for attention and maybe Jackie thinks he had a plan to repeat his claims. Just a thought. Whether he was telling the truth or not, it was a very strange thing to choose to say on his VT.

Basically Callum n Charlie were talking about their relationship in the garden. And then jackie came and sat beside them, then Charlie said "mum are you sitting here to make sure i dont talk to callum?"
Jackie then replied by criticising Charlie saying she over analyize all the time. Which made callum who was in between them awkward. Lmao but yea they continued their convo with jackie there anyways.

But seriously, who cares how many people a teacher has slept with? He said he had only slept with 8(?) people anyway and made up the 200 thing to get in the house. But even if he had done 200 people, including mother and daughter, than has no bearing on his teaching abilities. Its as if she thinks teachers have no life outside of teaching and are completely celibate.

It was more that not many teachers have themselves and their private life splashed on the TV for all to see.

For teachers they'll find all kinds of roadblocks for that kind of thing, makes me wonder why Callum went on a show like BB where anything could happen and he could jeopardise his career ambitions.

Penny from BB2 faced a backlash for flashing her boobs in the house. I can't recall if she was fired or not but it's bound to cause problems with her job when kids can google the teachers tits. There's a kind of respect barrier some of the kids will lose.

Jackie wasn't suggesting that what he said in the VT makes her question his teaching abilities but she's at a loss as to why he'd make the VT but then try to hold himself back in the house for fear of ruining his chances.

If you arent planning on going on and making a fool of yourself I dont think it matters really. Also the media interest in the show is slim to none..its not like BB ruins lives anymore, even for the really horrible HMs.

Did Rachel Rice boast about her sexual conquests? But she didn't worry about it ruining her career whereas Callum is obviously wary of it.

I know what you're saying, Callum will be fine teaching wise for all those reasons.

But my point was that it was Callum himself who said he's holding himself back because he doesn't want anything to come back and bite him on the arse when teaching. Jackie just pointed out if he felt that way why would he make a VT the way he did? It's a contradiction of his intentions.
