Was talking to Dan and was going on and on about how he was 'over' Charlie and that Dexter was a wormy game-player and how pathetic he was, when earlier in that day Callum was telling one of the twins in the bedroom that he most-definitely still fancied Charlie?

To me, the dude is a creep, for real. His 'deceptive-intelligence', beady-eyes, and thin lips partnered with his passive-aggressive, fence-hopping agenda reeks of sociopath, and the only real emotions we've ever seen him display are lust and rage.

Dexter might be playing the game but he's not a creepy sleezer... Callum is the kind of bloke you wouldn't want to run into in a dark alley if you were an attractive woman... that's for sure.

I think he still fancies Charlie, but he knows nothing will happen between them. I think that is what he means by being over her.

He is very awkward to watch sometimes and gives too many lectures to Charlie, sort of a cross between Norman Bates and Jim Carey, but he is a good housemate to watch.

He still displayed quite a bit of sour grapes that Dexter was able to position himself in Charlie's company in a positive manner and got REALLY jealous when he thought he saw Dexter kissing her under the shower. Then on the one-to-one he had with Dexter in the kitchen, before Charlie came in and burst up the conversation, Callum was all like "yeah, we see eye to eye on the matter, we can put it behind and be cordial," only to tell Dexter the next morning that they hadn't made any progress and nothing had changed.

Callum is a legitimate weasel and if he continues to try and turn the entire house against Dexter, it's going to be his demise. If he wants to stay in the house, he needs to get off the Charlie-lust and get on-board with finding out who he really is as a person.

He's an uber-creep.

Let me adjust your perspective. Perhaps the vibe you're picking up on is actually regurgitated counseling and therapy that perhaps Callum had to undertake throughout his life, prior to entering the BB house??

The trouble with teachers/coaches is that they have control... they are somewhat idolised by the children....amoungst adults they find themselves struggling to have the same adulation and big themselves up....thats exactly what Callum does. Amongst equals he is weak.

To be fair though, even Dan called Callum creepy, so quite a few think he is. I don't think he is apart from the hair sniffing, I just think he tries too hard in there and he has the type of facial expressions that do come across as creepy.

I don't see it the way it is presented in the op.
For me he sees himself in a six of one and half a dozen of the other situation.

He has an attraction to Charlie and a lot of what he says is an attempt to even convince himself he is over it all.
He finds that hard to stick to in reality and it is made worse from the mixed signals that Charlie keeps throwing him.

Talking about it helps him and also to keep saying he is over it all is a defence mechanism for him.

I somehow think you are not a teacher. There are as many different types of personalities in teaching as they are in the nursing, doctors,police ect.

Dexter has made sure that people have reasons to vote for Callum. If Callum has a problem it is that he feels inferior to others and does actually try too hard.
He is a decent man and he more than anyone else has made an effort to include Sam. Some of the others border on the rude just because Sam cannot hear everything he says they just walk away. Not nice.
