No I disagree, when you're in there, you would crave a decent friendship and you would become psychologically closer than others may think, hence Charlies "best friend" comment

Yes true. Everything is intensified in there and to have a friendship is like a lifeline.

Your in house ally is not the same thing as a forever close friend you can relate to day to day outside the house.

I think you know when you have found a real true friend regardless of the time frame, they are spending all day every day with them too not just a couple of hours here and there so I think it's definitely possible.

Why does anyone listen to what this girl has to say as factual or relevant just because she knows how to have a good argument. As far as I know she's the only one that mentioned "best friend" when she felt hard done by by Charlie. She said she thought Charlie was her best friend. Charlie never said that. But anyways, yes I concur with blue, get the hoe out.

That's fresh considering that many of our population (both male and female) will jump into bed with complete strangers after a couple of minutes of meeting!

I mostly agree, there are people I have met who I felt a connection with instantly but I do make sure I can trust people first.
So I doubt I would be calling anyone a close friend in just a few weeks although I would be well into the friendship process.

Having said that and as you point out,a normal 2 months is out the window as to BB.
For the weeks they are in there, they are with each other 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,that reveals a lot about people that you don't get in only a few hours or less most days on the outside.

When I started Uni, I moved in with 3 other guys sharing a house and after about 4 weeks we had learned a great deal about each other and I certainly termed 2 of them as friends after a very short time.

I agree in that i dont think you can have a BF within such a short period of time, friends yes, good friends maybe but not BF.

Yes strong friendships can be made in the House in such a short time as they have been on other reality shows.
Charlie has used the term "best friend" but has always added "in the house" That person being Hazel who she had bonded with the most and had a strong connection with. This doesnt mean that she considered her the BBF in the real world.....

Tbh, I think it must mean she has some very longterm friends.

She was talking about "best friends". If you go into BB for two months and come out and can claim someone you met in there is now your BEST friend then you mustn't have much great friends on the outside who actually know you in your life. If you're friends with someone since childhood and then claim someone you've known 2 months is now your best friend then something's wrong.

A casual friend or whatever, yes. Best friend? Unless you're Dexter and apparently have no friends, then no.
