upcoming film (I think it's out on Christmas Day here), was the trailer before Catching Fire that I saw.
Also has Sean Penn, Adam Scott, Patton Oswalt and Shirley MacLaine amongst others... it's synopsis: Quote:

...this is one of the ones I've so been looking forward to..
 ..I was with the Great Gatsby as well though and most people I know were really disappointed in it...I hope this isn't the same...

Yeah it's gotten quite bad-mixed reviews
 Rotten Tomatoes has 33% good reviews... and an average rating of 5.5/10

..Rotten Tomatoes is completely hit and miss for me/sometimes I completely disagree with their ratings..and even if I agree it isn't a 'good movie' it can sometimes be so bad that it is good, if that makes sense...but in general these classic story remakes worry me in that a lot don't quite work as well as the originals and in theory with all of the modern cinema stuff and great cast etc, they should be amazing..I can't actually bring myself to watch Great Gatsby because I don't wan to be disappointed with it so I'll just dream it is amazing and the critics/audience are all stupid....

never tend to look at Rotten Tomatoes anymore, full of snobby critics and it doesn't even come up when you search films on google anymore, you have to actually go on the site, I just have a look at the IMDB score
