(seriously underrated song...) so i've probably listened to this over 100 times, and i was playing it in the car the other day and my sister asks where the singer is from, and i'm like 'America, duh!" because i thought they were. Maybe its just because they're called Glasvegas, or maybe it's just because i always imagine this type of music to be by an american. anyway, my sister then says he sounds scottish and i'm like no way. then i started to hear it a little and now i can't believe i never realised. do you know of any songs with really strong accents. the obvious ones like The Proclaimers are banned

A couple of the guys from Glasvegas were friendly with people that lived in the flat above me a couple of years ago... never spoke to them but heard instruments being played in that flat all the time so I don't know if they were collaborating with the guys upstairs or if they just messed around or what the deal was. Pretty cool though (and nothing to do with this thread really
