I think it's because most people, as teenagers, go through this process of sleeping around, getting rejected, breaking hearts, having their heart broken and by the time they're in their mid-late twenties they've learned that they can't do whatever they want to other people or they can expect to be treated the same way back. Lee has never had to deal with any of that because he was famous from a young age, slept with anything with a pulse and never had to deal with the consequences because for every heart broken girl and her mates who think he's scum, there's some other girl willing to sleep with him. He's never learned his lesson.

I get what you are saying, but how many boy band members are like him? I can't think of one who is as immature and with no self awareness to that extent. He treats women like objects to play with and to massage his ego and has no idea even how to at least portray himself in a good light. He acts like a kid in a candy shop who thinks he can have it all then cries for his Mummy to hug him and make it better when he gets a sore tummy.
I honestly think there is something not right with him. Maybe arrested development? He shouldn't have been put in the house.

Maybe you should get involved in the conversation and elaborate on your reasons for those comments, it would add a hell of a lot more to the topic.

Hard to say really; would we have known Lee is like this if there had been two different housemates in there instead of Casey and Jasmine? It depends on the combination of people and what we, the public, get to see... but it's a behaviour that isn't limited to boy band members, I think many famous men are guilty of the same behaviour as Lee - if you have women throwing themselves at you, you sleep with as many as you can, then regardless of how ****ty you treat women in general, you are never going to feel apologetic for the way you treat them and you will become accustomed to this way of treating the opposite sex. How many famous men do we hear about having affairs? It's really common. Most people have the emotional maturity to not act like Lee but there are plenty out there who are just like Lee Ryan.

I doubt they would be so immature and stupid to do it on a reality TV show though - and if they did I doubt they would keep making the same mistakes and cry buckets about how misunderstood they were and how it wasn't their fault...no, there is something not right with that man/child.

Yeah I agree with you, Lee is extremely immature in both his actions and in his emotional response to those actions. I've really not been impressed by him in Big Brother at all, from the word go he was proving himself to be an idiot - but there were plenty of stories about him back in the day and I watched The Big Reunion and got a taster for his immaturity on there too. He said Liz McLarnon must still fancy him because she flinched when Blue walked into the rehearsal room for the first time and burst out laughing (they were engaged when they were younger) - absolutely no awareness of other people's emotions at all. Totally agree.... he seems to think he is stil popular...he seems to think that because the public voted to put him in the 'bolt hole' and not evict that he has misread the situation and that the public still like him.
