Default The Asylum movies

The Asylum is an American film studio and distributor which focuses on producing low-budget, direct-to-video productions. The studio has produced titles that capitalize on productions by major studios, usually resorting to film titles and scripts very similar to those of current blockbusters in order to lure customers. These titles have been dubbed "mockbusters" by the press

Anyone one kind of fan of some of these movies, I only hand full of them, not seen many, I liked 3 out of 9 movies from this list below

I love to hate these films lol I thought I was the only person who knew about them.

They are blatant rip offs of other films in every way I don't know how they haven't been sued, especially for "Snakes On A Train"!!!!

I looked at half of Nazis at the Center of the Earth a few weeks ago, and I have Sharknado recorded, just haven't gotten around to watching it.

What I found hilarious is that people actually thought Titanic 2 was a follow up to the 1997 film. The covers look so convincing though I bet there are a lot of dissapointed kids at Christmas when they open these films that their parents thought were the real deal haha.

They are almost always filmed at the same time, the bigger movie that comes from a major studio starts their 6 to 12 months of filming, Asylum gets word that the movie is going to be popular so cash in by making their own knock off which takes little more than 4 weeks to film lol.

Then they release them the same time.
