NIKKI & PETE PLAN A NIGHT OF BIG LOVE

SWEETHEARTS Pete Bennett and Nikki Grahame yesterday declared their love for each other as they prepared for their first night of passion away from the cameras.

Besotted Nikki, 24, admitted she hoped to marry Pete if she found her feelings for him were genuine, while Brighton glam rocker Pete - talking in his first interview since scooping the £100,000 prize - said: "I genuinely do have feelings for her. I love her."

The couple - frustrated by being constantly monitored in the house - were today planning to spend their first night alone at a hotel.

Promotions girl Nikki, of Pinner, Middlesex, said: "I don't want to scare Pete off by saying too much too soon, but the thought of marriage doesn't scare me.

"I hope Pete's feelings are as genuine outside the house as they were inside the house because I certainly feel the same way about him."

Talking of how she was voted back into the house for the final week after being evicted, she added: "I was just so happy to be there with Pete, to build our relationship, and finally let our feelings go and say how I truly felt."

But Nikki - who yesterday tottered into hospital in high-heeled boots for a check-up on an ankle she sprained in the house - said she was worried Tourette's sufferer Pete would be too busy to see her.

She said they'd only spoken once since leaving the BB after-show bash separately in the early hours of Saturday. Nikki said: "He sounded pretty spaced out."

Pete said he wanted to be her "magical friend", adding: "I'd like to take Nikki home for a nice cup of tea and a Jaffa Cake."

PETE is now set to mate a fortune on the back of his Big Brother win.


His glam rock band Daddy Fantastic have already been offered TWO record deals, including an approach by EMI.

Pete has already been signed up by showbiz agent John Noel, who represents BB host Davina WlcCall, presenter Dermot O'Leary and Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton.

A showbiz source said: "Pete and his band are going to be massive."
