Former British number one tennis player Elena Baltacha has died of liver cancer, aged 30.

This is so sad, I can't believe it happened so quickly.

A part of me thinks she knew something and wasn't letting on, she retired and got married a few months ago. It's really nice to see a lot of the tennis stars and GB players posting on twitter; as sad as it is. She was loved on tour
