She convinced them that Steven and Marlon would both go over Ash when she knew full well they wouldn't. And then when Helen suggested Lil'Chris wouldn't be in danger she quickly jumped down her throat and reminded them of his sob story.

Err why?? Danielle hates Ash, Jale has other friendships and Ash called her a maggot, Kim is a total unknown and just goes with what she thinks the public likes. Ash only ever had 1 definate vote... he was doomed from the get go had nothing to do with Ashleigh, Kim and to a lesser extent Jale held the power in that room Ashleigh and Helen were irrelevant (although louder)

Ashleighs actual plan was to save Mat, chris and chris. Well that failed so in the end they had to settle for saving someone they both despise (Marlon) in order to make sure Ash went up. Cause they knew Kim and Jale wouldnt budge on Marlon. Helen was always solo in her view was never gonna win.

She didn't. She wanted to save Matthew. She agreed with Jale to save Marlon purely because it was an easier way of preventing Ash from being saved.

Even though, either way, Ash was never going to be.

Ash would have been saved if Ashleigh hadn't been there or was scared of Helen. Jale and Kim especially are scared of her and Helen would have been able to save Ash as she wouldn't have thought twice about bullying them into it. She didn't dare bully Ashleigh though so she didn't get her way. Classic.
