EXCLUSIVE BIG Brother babe Nikki Grahame was last night feared to be close to the edge after a string of setbacks left her in total meltdown.


Pals fear the sexy blonde might commit suicide after her new telly show bombed and her romance with BB winner Pete Bennett collapsed.


A very close pal said: “She’s always been emotional, but this is the worst she’s ever been.


“She’s plunging into a downward spiral and no-one can get through to her.


“She thought she had the perfect life after Big Brother – and she says it’s crashing down round her ears. She’s a complete wreck.”


Nikki, 24, who has battled anorexia in the past, suffered more public humiliation when she was blacklisted from hip London Fashion Week parties because organisers felt she was a nobody.


Just weeks ago things seemed so bright for the bubbly promo girl.


Agents rushed to sign her up and she gushed about her future plans with madcap Pete, 24.


But her E4 show Princess Nikki – where she was supposed to try out different jobs – has bombed attracting just 300,000 viewers.


A C4 insider said: “It hasn’t worked. She wouldn’t do what producers told her, and she doesn’t have any natural people skills, so no-one warmed to her.

“To cap it all, viewing figures were terrible – there’s no way there’ll be another series now.”


Even more hurtful was thewayTourette’ssufferer Pete ended their romance.


She was devastated after he said he “couldn’t cope with her any more”, and slated her for being rude to his friends.


Pete also claimed Nikki was frigid. He said: “She was never really interested, whereas my sex-drive is very high.”


He has severed all contact with her since they split soon after appearing together on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.


Pals says Nikki has been inconsolable because he ignores her phone calls.

A friend said: “She is just tearful all the time and telling people she doesn’t feel like her life has any point.”

If you actually read the thread you'll see that the show has actually done really well on E4 and T4..

Also, the Daily Star has an official deal with Pete, so no surprise that they'd act like Pete is so 'amazing' and 'fantastic' that splitting up with him makes someone want to kill themself.. oh please..

Well this friend of hers is probably only saying this because she wants people to feel sympathetic for Nikki, maybe if she didn't scream and rant as much as she did Pete wouldn't have dumped her.

300,000 thousand is good for a cable show Russel Brand gets around 180,000 viewers and hes had good reviews. But i do feel sorry for Nikki i hope her and Pete do work things out and give it another try bbut doubt it .

NIKKI your viewing figures are good for a Cable channel so dont worry you cant expect over a million two tune in so DONT do anything stupid
