Christmas gift for dad!. Help required

I am thinking of buying my dad some shares in his favourite football team for christmas.

I have had mixed opinion about this from my family

but I think he would like it. I think he'd like to be a "shareholder" nothing major but I still think he'd like the title

what do you think? help
