Default Is the \"X Factor\" changing?

Whats the difference between Shayne ward and Andy from last year? Both had great voices and each appealed to a different audience. Shayne won and Andy came second. Shayne had his youth, good looks, he could move on the dance floor and he had a presence on stage. Andy had an amazing voice but that wasn't enough for him to win.

Last year people said Shayne "had it all" and he is the "whole package" but this year this seems not to be what they are looking for... People this year talk about Leonas amazing voice and that alone. This says she is a talented singer BUT doesn't "have it all" or have "the whole package".

From what we have seen Ray can dance, he has that spark and twinkle in his eye, you can easily see he loves what he does, and he can sing. Plus he OWNS the stage when he is on it.

I personally don't think either "have the whole package" you have two very different people...one who is a great singer but comes across as shy and cold and another who is lively, entertaining and shows a very warm personality and stage presence.

Is this another 'Leona can't win because she doesnt have it all, while Ray (Who doesn't) has enough to win' thread? Cause if it is, I would like to see your posts when he does win, and lasts only one single in the charts.

To be honest Leona is better then Ray singingwise, Ray is more entertainment but over that last few weeks he's shown he can sing.

I still want Ray to win but to be honest Leona is better then Ray.

The X-Factor is just losing its spark for me. It's not about the talent anymore at all.

She said it's 'not about the talent anymore', which kinda means shes in favour of people like Leona.

I think it's right that Leona has by far the best voice and what she lacks in 'stage presence' she makes up with her voice.

Ray is pretty good, has the stage presence and the cheeky smile which would get him both young and old fans.

I can see it being very close, and i'd say it's Leona's.

Yea, i dont undersatnd why people are saying "oh leona will win its obvious"its not!
ray is a good entertainer but lacks in an amazing voice
and leona has an amzing voice but doesnt have as strond a stage presence as ray
They both have good points and bad points I think it will be VERY close

It's a singing contest... personally I don't care about any other aspect.. I don't care if they've "got the look" or not.. it's about the voice.

Well thats the thing at the end of the day, most people will be listening to the songs on the radio or at home, so there hardly going to remember the dance movements of a certain person.

Thanks for clearing that up Chris. Yes, I think Leona is one of the most talented people the UK has had for a long time.

I think the show is no longer about the talent though. It's become gimmicky.

Who cares whether its changed or not?

Stop looking into it to much, and start enjoying it.

I think if anything, it needs a drastic change.

For example, let all genres enter... bands, etc.

The only reason people are starting to get bored with it is because there is no variety, just a production line of pop wannibies that last longer then a cake at a fat farm.
