So I've noticed on TiBB that a lot of us like to poke fun at each other for their stereotypes (e.g being Old (niamh), gay, LESBIAN, disgusting jew, MURICA, leathernazi etc etc,) and I was wondering if anyone ever actually gets upset by this...

I can deal with any insult whatsoever, but I always laugh at the lesbian jokes the most. I don't realise that I might actually upset someone with my stereotyping jokes, because they don't bother me at all. I don't think I've ever seen someone upset by them, because most people on here seem to like the stereotyping jokes (as I do)

I was just wondering if anyones 'stereotype' bothered them and that they didnt like to laugh about it.

The "white person" stereotype is actually really funny and I perpetuate it a lot myself.

The gay person stereotype though I don't find quite as funny and take rather personally.

im fine with a few age jokes from the people i like but if they get heavy with it; it makes me want to stab them

N'aww i can understand why it can piss you off. The age jokes on here actually make me laugh as much as the 'LESBIAN' ones, but I don't mean it in a bad way. I'd laugh at (well with tbh) any person the joke was aimed at, no matter how old/young.

The thing is, you're really mature which makes it funnier (to me) because its just weird remembering you're so young.

I agree, if it's someone you like and know, then it's funny. But when it's someone else, I'm not sure how to take it, but I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
