idk about "most impressive" bc that'd probably go to a whitney song but in terms of the vocal performance i kept most entranced by it's this

just because of how different it is to their 70s recording of it, the wisdom and hindsight and history stacked up against the song, and the weary raspiness of her voice just syncs perfectly with the "indecisive, afraid youth" lyrics

and to be honest the little dedication at the beginning gets me every time anyway

Also - remember concerts where people actually went to enjoy themselves/dance rather than stand there all night recording off their phones? Good times.

..so many...Jimi Hendrix and Voodoo Child is one and all Bruce the Boss performances......but I think I'll say this as well because Eva/so hauntingly beautiful...
