Default Channel 5 says Series 5 - MTV says Series 16?
I noticed that if you look at the listings for Big Brother on Channel 5 on a TV, it says that this is series 5 (see below - spoilerd due to image size).

However, if you look at the MTV listings, it says that Big Brother is in series 16 (see below).



It's a small thing, but I'm just interested as to why one says series 5 and the other says series 16...

They're probably just counting the amount of series on C5

Channel 5 say Series 5 because for them production wise it is the fifth series they've produced. It's the same with CBB, they will call CBB16 the ninth.

MTV saying 16 means they probably count it as the sixteenth series overall for Big Brother, not the production on C5.
