On hindsight looking back, I'd probably say the final 6 is amongst the best ever and it may be in my top 5/6 series after rewatch.

Oh absolutely, and the fact that casual fans and Reddit fans and even Jeff Probst ****ing hate this season just makes it even more amazing. I'm amazed that we're 15 years into Survivor and we can still produce a season as godly as this <3 Like you said, one of the best final 5/6s ever and easily the best F3 ever <3

Oh obviously, there's that, the fact that "nobody was playing the game" bc Jeremy and Josh were the first two merge boots, etc. It's a casual fan's NIGHTMARE which just makes me love it even more <3

Yes definitely <3 The pre-merge was a bit boring (except the episodes where Natalie shouts at Rocker and the Drew boot) but the post-merge is amazing and godly. Ofc casuals hate it because it's a female dominated end game with their faves Josh and Jeremy going out at the merge in spite of all the blindsides and exciting play (I think everyone was blindsided by a least one vote in the post-merge)

I'd actually say that SJDS is the most feminist season of Survivor :3 not only by what went on in the actual show but also factoring in public reception and Probst reception and all that ****
