I seriously DONT think that any of the housemates loved ones or family should be involved in the telephone task. Its FOUR WEEKS AT MOST For Gods sake. The celebrities are guaranteed their enormous fees unless the walk and even at that they get a percentage of it. The housemates during the summer are 12 or more weeks separated from their loved ones and only ONE of them will earn the prize at the end.

The carry on with Darren and his wife last night in the clip Rylan showed nearly made me puke. All this I love you (how many times did she say it) I am not heartless I am married myself but there are many other callers that could be calling into the house, former housemates from different years, people that the celebs cant STAND or had fights with etc. If you are going to miss your spouse or kids so much when at most you will be gone for four weeks DONT BLOODY SIGN UP. Sorry !!! I am sure there are many who wont agree but there ya have it

Darren's call did make me laugh a bit as they didn't seem to have anything to say to each apart from baby and love you. I'd have wanted to know how about family or the cats, or if I was the other end have an amusing story about the kids or something they said.

The reason they need the calls is quite cynical really, they want to know that people like them and they are popular with the public.
