It gives you a great feeling inside that while people are starving to death in the World, these guys are taking home a quarter of a million every single week for playing football, repeat playing football, something most people do for a hobby/past-time.
Why is this happening? it makes no sense. |

You'd only argue 4 of them are in the top 10 players in the world right now.

Tbf I wouldn't turn it down if it was offered to me.
I do think that there needs to be a cap on how high the wages can go soon though before the whole Sport goes bankrupt.

It's the mugs that pay £50, £60, £70 to go and watch their local team who are reason.
Then there's the merchandise, a new home and away strip every season, which you just have to purchase, or you might not fit in with the crowd. They're being exploited by people who don't care for the team, they're just there to profit of peoples loyalty to their club. Like everything else in life, the game has been hijacked for profit for greedy B'stards. Last edited by Alf; 19-02-2016 at 11:57 PM. |

That's true Wannashag, it's just that if people thought like that you'd never buy anything because every product (especially in the entertainment industry) is all about ripping people off so they make a bigger profit.

Toure and Gyans agents deserve a medal. How can Yaya earn the same as team mate Aguero and world #3 player Neymar? Looks like the birthday cake threat wasn't so daft after all.
Wayne Rooney is just taking the p*,ss but I blame that on Moyes. Fergie would have told him to feck off. He needs flogging to China. Now. Meanwhile Mahrez gets £35k a month Last edited by alex_front2; 20-02-2016 at 11:57 AM. |
