Default Call Backs

Now that the first audition stage is drawing to a close, what now? How long are hopefuls expected to wait until their phone rings with a BB producer on the other end...?

I auditioned in Glasgow many weeks ago. Went through every stage from meeting Mr Edgar to filling out the biggest form in history to waiting a room with a bunch of loons for up to 5 hours... How much longer do you think I, and many others, have to wait? Or should I give up and move on already...

The channel4 forum doesn't have a good reputation, some of the members arent nice people and I expect theres much more restrictions and rules.

My suggestion is not to sit by the phone that way if they do ring it will be more of a surprize

It's too early for callbacks yet. If you haven't heard anything by the end of March then I'm afraid that's it.

I'd just wait till late March before you start stressing out too much!

And either way, there IS always a next time, no matter how sick you might be of hearing it.

Good luck!

Well, 8 weeks would put the callback date sometime in March. Like I say, this is too early but if you haven't heard by the end of March then you've definitely had it. Don't forget, they've just received a whole new batch of auditions from the online e4.com. They'd probably want to sift through those before having the first callback. Get the balance right.

In previous years we've had some people hanging on until April still wondering. Forget it. End of March is cut-off, but you would probably hear before then if you've got a chance.

I don't know why they don't tell people when to expect a call. I think it's cruel.

Competition is tough. Don't be too disappointed.

From the Channel 4 website today (27th February):

"Thousands of you applied for Big Brother 2007...

Big Brother 2007 auditions and online applications are now closed.

Big Brother is currently eyeing over thousands of applicants to find housemates this summer. If you've got through to the next round, Big Brother will contact you shortly."
