Why are some certain members here supposed to be inactive even when they are actually online?

I've been wondering for so long...

An example is T*.

You have the option to appear invisible on here so people can't see you in the currently active users list or what you're looking at.

I never log out usually, I also rarely switch of my computer however I am not often in the house.
However that would mean to all looking, I am online, even though I am not physically present at the computer.

You wouldn't appear to be online after 15 minutes, unless you had the Who's Online page open all the time.

I often wondered how after being on a little then going off for hours, when I come back it tells me the last time I was on as really it hadn't been off.
