Probably the day I had to move in at Uni for the 2nd year... I hadn't got my student finance loans so couldn't pay the rent, let alone anything else, and had to take all my stuff (3 suitcases, backpack + laptop case) on the train because none of my family drove at the time. Just a nightmare having to make station changes with that much luggage, and not having a penny to my name at the time. Didn't know a couple of the people I was moving in with either and hadn't seen the house before - luckily they and the house were lovely - but the landlady was (fairly) on my back for the months before it finally went through.

I'm still angry about it because I missed so much living off-campus and couldn't afford to go into classes every day - I lived off whatever my mum (on benefits at the time) could afford to send me, and 'emergency loans' which didn't even cover the cost my reading materials, which ultimately led to me missing so much and dropping out (although personal factors were more to blame for that).
