Default Launch Night

What are you most looking foward to on launch night of BB8? seeing the housemates? Davina showing us around the house? their first few moments together? everyone must have one thing that stands out over the rest.

I'm most looking forward to the bit where she says...

Fancy meeting a housemate... Then the VT rolls... and up comes the first housemate its sooo exciting.

But i hate the bit where she goes, "Thats it, all our housemates are in the house , we'll see you soon! IT completely ruins any hope of a twist at the end of the show.

So from launch night this year i want to see a twist!

Yup couldn't agree more, that was such an exciting launch night, and ever since we've had two launch nights, bb7 and cbb5 with no twists at all in live launch! disappointing

Last year it was the house and the show's graphics, this years the HMs. They went in in a bad order in my opinion last year!

It would have been better had they gone in like this...

Was I the only one who thought my TV was going funny when the BB starting theme started last year but it was just the graphics . Really cool!

They were abit odd! I quite liked them though but got sick of them by cbb! They shouldn't stand out so much, more like BB6 or BB5 graphics are the best!

I think the meeting the housemates was ruined a bit last year because the first person we met was boring Bonnie! What a boring Vt and a boring person! They should put the most entertaining housemate in first so its exciting

Actually, everyone series except BB1 and BB2 have had a launch night twist:

BB3 - public nominate/housemates evict
BB4 - first night nominations
BB5 - suitcase nominations
BB6 - unlucky housemates thirteen
BB7 - big brotherhood

I agree. the BB6 titles made me feel all creeped out when I saw them at first. the BB7 titles were kind of random (loved the subliminal messages though)

I have to admit I was extremely disappointed in last year's BB when I first saw Bonnie and Pete.

Bonnie was boring.
Pete was a predictable winner.

I agree. What was the point? Here's how the launch should have worked in my opinion.

A Better launch for BB7

You promote a lot of your other posts, I've seen.

But that is an alright lineup. I wouldn't have put George or Dawn in at all.

Sorry, and yeah, I probably wouldn't have put them in but I couldn't just make up HMs no one's ever seen and I didn't even bother casting Shabaz.

I love it once their all in and chatting away, you then start to think i wonder who will end up being good friends who with and who will fall out first basically all those sort of things, usually makes interesting viewing, then you got the obvious things like seeing the house design for the first time and meeting the housemates, it's all good fun.

Personally, I just love the whole Launch Night in general. I always stock up for the night and am always glued. I'm really looking forward to Davina showing us around the house. This year I hope there's a few changes to the houses look, like a new diary room, new diary room chair, new garden, new sitting area, bedroom etc.

I'm just so excited already!
