earlier this morning on bbuksite there was a rumour saying a bb insider has emailed a pic of the bb8 tv ad well bbuksite just learned that it is fkae!!!!! heres the article.


We can now confirm that a promo trailer image we received earlier today is in fact a fake.

Although it looked pretty real, we warned you that there was a high chance it was fake, and it turns out that it is. The email we received said this:

“i managed to get a picture of the new trailer being shown in the office, sorry for bad quality. it starts airing at the start of may on ch4″

And here’s the image. The fake trailer had a purple and blue background, with god knows what behind the Channel 4 logo. It used the rumour of Big Brother: The Battle, although there was no sign of an eye design.



It turns out some trickster used an image from this site. Thanks to chelly dxxx on the comments for sussing this!

Never mind! We’ll continue to bring you any information we receive, with warning that it could be fake of course, because you never know when you’re dealing with the real thing! It won’t be long till more official news comes through, guys.
