What day were the eyes revealed for past series, and what dates did the adverts begin appearing?

I know that

the eyes hav almost always apperared around the 1st then been confirmed as official the following friday

The first BB6 advert was on Saturday 27th April during the premiere of Lord of the Rings. A 1 second eye flash. That was it. We never got another advert for a couple of weeks after that.

The eye is usually always released first by Channel 4 Press and the adverts start a few days later. Last year the logo was revealed to the press on Tuesdya 2nd May. Adverts started on Friday 5th May during Friends on E4 at about 8pm.

BB5 advert campaign started in early May. The same for BB4.

It might seem late this year but it's only because last year's show started earlier and the promotion started later than usual (about 14 days before the show started).

I wish to God people would stop worrying, moaning and making up dates. It's damn annoying and it won't make anything better. It might be frustrating having no news but we'll just have to wait. We've waited 3 months since CBB5, I'm sure an extra week or two won't hurt.
