Glastonbury Festival is almost here & the line-up is revealed!
Anybody going???? Link & Article below:- http://www.metro.co.uk/fame/article....5&in_page_id=7 Full Glastonbury line up revealed Friday, June 1, 2007 The Gossip are one of the big acts to playThe Who, The Killers and the Arctic Monkeys will headline this year's Glastonbury festival after the full line-up was unveiled today. The Gossip, Rufus Wainwright, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Paul Weller, Chemical Brothers and Shirley Bassey are also among the 200 acts set to perform at the three day event. The artists will be playing to the largest Glastonbury crowds ever, after organisers extended capacity to 177,500. The new capacity allowance was agreed as part of a new four-year license for the band. Organiser Michael Eavis said: 'The line-up this year is so good we've even surpassed ourselves.' 'From the snazziest new bands to the old boys' specials, you've not seen anything like this before - anywhere,' he added. Other big names gracing the festivals main stage include, Kasabian, The Fratellis, Bloc Party and The Kooks. Bjork, The Coral, Editors and Babyshambles will be performing on the event's Other stage. Headlining the John Peel Stage will be Hot Chip and The Twang. The festival is returning after a two year break with organisers introducing registration for tickets for the first time. A small number of returned tickets to the Somerset event go on sale on the See Tickets website on Sunday. The festival begins on June 22. nodisharmony ![]() |

I haven't been either.
Even though I have had plenty of chances. Staying each night in a tent, doesn't appeal to me, but for some, it's great ![]() I think that housemate "Tracey" would fit in quite well ![]() She just has that look. Anyway, more info below about Glastonbury:- _____________________________________________ http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.u...ce.aspx?id=196 Friday 22nd June 2007 Arctic Monkeys Kasabian The Fratellis Bloc Party The Magic Numbers Amy Winehouse Gogol Bordello The Earlies Adjegas Saturday 23rd June The Killers The Kooks Paul Weller Paulo Nutini Lily Allen Dirty Pretty Things Guillemots The Pipettes Seasick Steve Liz Green Sunday 24th June The Who Kaiser Chiefs Manic Street Preachers Dame Shirley Bassey James Morrison Marley Brothers Present The 30th Anniversary Of Exodus The Waterboys Corb Lund National Youth Orchestra Other Stage Friday 22nd Jun 2007 Bjork Arcade Fire Rufus Wainwright The Coral Super Furry Animals Bright Eyes The Automatic Modest Mouse The Cribs Reverend And The Makers Mr Hudson And The Library Saturday 23rd June Iggy And The Stooges Editors Maximo Park Babyshambles Klaxons CSS Biffy Clyro The Long Blondes Brakes El Presidente The Switches Sunday 24th June The Chemical Brothers The View The Go! Goodness, there's a lot going on. I haven't been for about 15 years, and the last time our tent burnt down lol. It was right by one of the pathways where thousands passed by giggling, it was so embarrassing, but a farmer helped us with one of those barn sheets and we built a palace lol. It's all different now, we just used to walk in !!
