9. Probably the best launch of Channel 5, dare I say it, one of the best ever.

![]() Favourite housemates if a series is excluded, then I haven't watched it or don't currently have a favourite. Spoiler: |

9 - Lewis G knocked a point off for being a twat.

8 (one point off for Bear's good cousin from the projects entering, half a point off for no house tour, half a point off for the fact that no matter how hard you try, you can never really get the right atmosphere with a maximum audience capacity of 30 people)

7.
Very promising but nobody was stand out, too much Lewis G exposure and didn't like family stuff for every housemate |

If we’re comparing to other Channel 5 launches, 9. Family/friend interviews aside, it was pretty much perfect. The vts starting with the housemates sitting on a diary room chair, the graphics, not being interviewed by Emma, the diversity etc. Yeah, nearly perfect for a show on its 19th series.

9. If you removed Lewis G it would be a 10 and the worst thing is that he was announced at the end and you should leave the best till last not the worst.

I put 5. I was really tired last night to begin with. Then the awful news about the axe put a dampener on it anyway for me. The lacklustre approach to the house tour which was non existent just a few photos. The diary room wasnt shown until Sian appeared in it. The family interviews were unnecessary. The VTs were a bit long but quite good i suppose. I found the coin thing irritating
On the postive side Emma was great. The cast was great. The cars and walks into the house were great. The fact there was no interview with Emma was genius So not a terrible launch but not one of the best Hoping for good things with this cast though |
