Big Brother Lover: We did not have sex for 7 months
Quote:
BIG BROTHER LOVER: WE DID NOT HAVE SEX FOR 7 MONTHS THE FORMER boyfriend of manhating midget Nicky Maxwell last night revealed how he was driven to cheat on her after she denied him sex for SEVEN months.
Hunky David Williams, 30, who dated the Big Brother babe for two years, says Nicky imposed the love ban because she thought she was TOO FAT.
Lifting the lid on their turbulent relationship, David told the People how the 27-year-old Mumbai-born TV reality star...
LOATHED her body size and was obsessed with cleaning.
DROPPED four dress sizes from a curvy 14 to a skinny 8 after David confessed to having three one-night stands.
TORCHED all his belongings when she found out about his romps.
Remorseful David said: "I don't feel proud of what I did and I tried my best to make the relationship work but we hadn't had sex for seven months which is more than any man could take.
"I shouldn't have cheated on her because I really did love her and, for a while, I thought we'd spend the rest of our lives together.
"But there was never really a honeymoon period for us when it came to sex because from the start, it was always a problem.
"Nicky would always point out the bits of her body which she hated and after a while it wore me down.
"She would only ever have sex under the covers or in the dark so she would never want us to try new places or new positions.
"Even when she did do something a bit different, she did it so half-heartedly that it just acted as a turn off.
"I tried to help her and guide her but it would always come back to her weight."
David revealed how Nicky's weight obsession also made her drink too much.
He said: "She was your typical party binge drinker and could easily drink her way through a bottle or sometimes even two bottles of vodka in a night.
"She was often out of control and would cry or get aggressive and shout and rant.
"She would have a go at me for the way she felt about her body and then accuse me of not spending enough time with her in the bedroom.
"The truth was, that every time we tried to get in the mood for sex, she'd want to cover herself up.
"We could never even have sex on the sofa. She felt far too exposed."
The couple met at Destiny nightclub in Watford, Herts, in 2003 while they were out with pals.
David said: "We were passionately kissing by the end of the evening and within a few weeks, we had already started seeing each other four nights a week."
At first everything between the couple was fine.
David said: "Nicky was always really generous and bought me some lovely things while we were together.
"She gave me an iPod and a leather jacket aswell as other stuff like shirts and jeans.
"There was a really good, kind, generous side to her. She was very caring as well.
"She'd always want to make sure I was happy and liked to look after me and cook us nice dinners.
Within six months they moved into a flat in Bushey, Herts. But then the fun began to disappear.
David said: "Her physical self loathing really began to show itself once we moved in together.
"She always wore clothes that covered her body. She was really conscious of her tummy and the backs of her arms.
"She'd talk about her weight more and more as time went on. It felt like her weight was all we spoke about.
"She was particularly conscious of her tummy. It seemed crazy though.
"She always wore nice clothes and looked lovely when we went out so I never understood where her insecurities came from. She was a size 14 but I never thought she was fat. She never wanted me to see her naked. If she was in the shower I wasn't allowed to see her in there, let alone have a romantic bath together or anything as adventurous as sex in the shower.
"I tried to suggest things to spice up our sex life like porn but she wouldn't watch it because she just thought the girls in them were too thin and made her feel bad.
"Sometimes, if we were watching telly or a film and I commented that someone was pretty, she'd just stop eating and storm upstairs and not talk to me for the rest of the evening, but she pretended that nothing was wrong.
"With her eating, she would only pick foods she felt wouldn't make her put on weight. If anything had the slightest bit of sauce on for example, she wouldn't touch it."
David also came to realise that Nicky was obsessed with cleanliness.
He said: "Everything had to be in its place by the millimetre and that applied to everything all over the house.
"If I didn't wash up my breakfast dishes before I went to work, I'd get an almighty telling off when I got home as to why I hadn't done it. She cleaned at least three or four times a day.
"It was as if it was away of keeping her busy and not thinking about her weight which seemed to occupy the majority of her thoughts.
"It felt like we were old before our time - like an old couple just staying in and watching TV or talking. There was no fun or passion in our lives any more."
Talking about their flop love life, David said: "She tried to touch me and please meduring sex but it never came naturally to her.
"It felt fake and forced and as if she didn't want to be doing it. It was almost as if she was trying too hard.
"She was never very vocal during sex either so we had no communication to really know or learn what each other liked.
"I even suggested that we go to "touch therapy" but she never came. It was like she was in denial about the problem we had.
"You can work through issues but you can't create sexual chemistry and she'd made sure that any that we had, was well and truly gone.
"The relationship just got worse and worse. It was like sharing a room with a friend after a while.
"I tried to talk to her about it every day but she would just tell me that she would make and effort and things would change.
"But they never did. I might as well have been in a monastery"
After nearly 18 months together, David regretfully began to look elsewhere for sex and had a series of one-night stands.
He said: "I was caught kissing a girl in Watford by one of Nicky's mates and at that point I just crumbled and told her everything.
"She was devastated and told me she felt totally let down and betrayed by me.
"I knew it was wrong but at the same time so was not having sex with your girlfriend for seven months.
"She yelled at me saying that men were all the same and that she'd never trust men again.
"She told me I'd broken her heart. I knew that and it wasn't how I wanted it to end.
"But her misery and insecurity coupled with the lack of sex just drove me away and ground me down over the two years."
Nicky reacted with fury to their split. Sighing, David recalled: "Everything went crazy.
"One night, I was asleep in the bedroom and I heard something crash downstairs.
Nicky had come home and a glass had broken. The next thing I knew, she had come into the bedroom and was going for me, screaming hysterically with this broken piece of glass in her hand. She was going mental at me.
"On another night when we weren't living together any more I came home to find her in my bed downing a bottle of vodka.
"I was totally freaked out by it. Everything kicked off again and the neighbours called the police.
"For Nicky, there was no way of her handling the fact that we'd split up.
"When I asked her for my belongings back, she told me she didn't have them. "Eventually she admitted that she'd burnt the lot. Everything.
"My leather jacket, my clothes, shoes, ties, underwear. The lot."
So far, viewers have not seen Nicky's wild side but she has warned viewers that she may "release my inner bitch" and claimed housemates may dislike her for what she calls "her extreme cleaning".
David said: "I think the housemates will find her quite argumentative.
"She will want to get her own way and to get her point across and she will do whatever happens.
"She can be a bitch. The blokes will find it hard to cope with her in the house."
