Imagine a bloke who is so dead-gorgeous, that the girls just can't take their eyes off of him

A stunning babe, with a body to die for and lips so amazing and an ar*e so cute and a face to look at and you just can't take your eyes off of her



Will that be your vote?

Will you just be captivated by their looks and get drawn in and forget about the rest of the housemates.

The good looking girls never win because most of the people who vote are teenage girls who hate girls like that.
For a girl to win she has to be ugly and or funny or the girl next door aka Chantelle and Kate.

Its hard not to be too drawn in by appearance, especially when it comes to first impressions when there's not much else to go on. But its also very interesting how appearance seemingly changes as you begin to understand the personality that goes with it.
I only vote sometimes but I would certainly hope that looks didn't play a part in my view. Having said that I have always had a soft spot for kate Lawler

Good question Nick, I think good looking people are great for the show but i wont vote them to win if they dont do anything good. They have to be fun and things like that.

I never vote on looks. Always nice to have a bit of female eye candy in the house but they have to be entertaining with that for me to want them to stay or win, take Imogen for example stunning girl but was a boring housemate.

I must admit, I can't say that looks don't matter, because they do.

I will look at a stunning gorgeous girl and get captivated straight away. But after a while, it won't be the looks that will grab me, it will be the personality.

So, I think it may be looks at first, personality later on.

No, personality and funniness all does it for me. If they make me laugh or deserve to win, or are just plain sweet and a wonderful person they will get my vote. I posted a thread saying i want a female winner but thats not because of the gender, im not like feminist or anything lol, it's just i want to see a female win BB again, there have been so many males. Like a down to earth, funny person though. And if a male can top the girls on the show, then so be it. It all depends on personality, but it would be just nice to see a girl win, thats all.

I have seen that a lot of male housemates seem to win BB and a female housemate winner seems fine by me.

But a lot do go for looks and that is the truth, But still personality and someone who is just plain nice or with that unmistakable personality, which we just can't forget, will give the voters that winning combination.


But sometimes, we just can't be happy with the result.

It depends what the personallity is like.
See Sezer for example, he's just phoarr to look at, but people saw his cocky side and voted him out earlier in the game.

But I do think being good looking can help get votes.

Early days, I'll keep the hotties in for purely aesthetic reasons. Once the show has progressed a bit, the importance of looks diminishes and personality would become more relevant for me. Someone who's funny or playing the game well is more entertaining to watch in the longterm.

But I don't vote anymore, so I guess it's all moot anyway.

I agree that personality is important.

Naturally, when your a bloke, it is always nice to the "eye" to see a gorgeous housemate or housemates & say, "She's stunning, I want her to win"

The same goes for girl's who fancy Ziggy

But as time goes by, personalities will make everyones judgement much better.

The Twins don't talk all the time to the other housemates, even though, we thought they would. They are very attractive, but are a little shy, when they are altogether in the group and some arguing is going on.

I wouldn't like to pick anyone at the moment. I have a few possibles, but I am waiting.

Totally agree with J.C here, at first you can only base your impressions on looks it takes time to look at people closer and see "who" they are rather than "what" they are.

I dont vote based on looks which means I rarely vote in the early weeks of the series unless there are some very strong HMs who I really like.
