I played episode 1 months ago and had to reboot my PS4. Now since then ive downloaded the game again and it states i need to play episode 1 before i play episode 2.

Don't really want to sit through another few hours of something ive already played.

I would check first if your save file has been uploaded to your PSN save cloud. If not then I doubt it as it needs to know what decisions were made in episode 1,and (as far as I know) PS4 saves are locked to your ID so you can't just download someone else's save (which is what I would say to do on PC for example).

If you do replay there's a good chance you can skip a lot of the cutscenes, though.
