Or what if Big Brother was actually the guy from 'Saw' and started giving them tasks like getting keys out of their necks... Obviously, I think the show would have to be cancelled if that happened...

Must admit I've never really considered that. I would imagine the live footage of course wouldn't be shown, the necessary action would be taken to ensure the other housemates were safe etc. After that the other housemates may well be too distressed to continue which is a shame, but they should be allowed to have the opportunity to take part in the show or something similar at a later date should the need arise. And, unfortunately, the show would be cancelled with perhaps a shorter replacement afterwards if the producers thought it best to do so.
