Put them in prison and throw away the key, although I would like to see certain murderers annihilated .

I'd much rather they were out where I could get to them. Other than that, life in the kid of prison where you have to work to eat and no frills.

shot in the back of the head with a pistol and body incinerated, and we save a lot of money and the family know that he/she snt in prison masterbating about the death or watching sky sports and taking drugs.

Life in prison, murdering a murderer is still murder, no matter how you dress it up in faux morality.

Depends on the circumstances.

"Person A killed person B" leaves me with lots of questions. Was Person A subject to prolonged abuse from person B? Was it an accident? Etc etc.

exactly, delivering justice yourself can only backfire on you (you going to prison yourself)

and Life in prison without chance of parole is best punishment honestly for murderers

What is the family relation and the circumstances of the death? It all matters IMO.

I don't agree with a one size fits all sentence tbh.

True but does that mean one life lost if worth more time in prison because they where stabbed 1 time or 20 times.

In this case it’s was not a random attack on a family member but it was not a source of the moment attack.

I always say if someone has committed murder especially without remorse ! , LIFE in Prison WITHOUT parole !!!! .

Life should mean life !, non of this minimal 30 year crap !!! .

When a psychotic person has done grim horrific crimes and gets the death penalty, at least we know they're gone and can't hurt anyone ever again .

However I can't support the death penalty as it would get out of hand and what about when innocent people get put on death row ?! .

Well, no as that's not what I meant.

I meant in terms of the circumstances leading to the death. Not really the number of times they were struck or how long it took the victim to die. For example, a domestic abuse situation where someone murders their abuser.

It's a valid point it's less likely but it still happens.

I prefer prison to the alternative, the loss of liberty is the punishment. I don't see the death penalty as punishment enough, it sounds odd but a person so twisted once caught often try to kill themselves, it's a release from torment or justice. I'd prefer to deny them that option.

Sentences could be reviewed, I would say perhaps a 16- 20yr minimum. with the potential to slide between the two tarrifs based on a review after 15.
