Huge player additions to Super League this year
include duel code legends, Sonny Bill Williams and Israel Folau.

New season gets underway tonight, in about an hours time with, Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves

The boys get their campaign underway against Kizzy's Leeds Rhino's later this afternoon. I'm so excited, I can't wait.

Come on you Hull

Also in the first game of the double header at Headingley, Sonny Bill Williams makes his Super League debut, as do his new club, Toronto Wolfpack. The first non European team to enter Super League.

I know that nobody on here is interested in Rugby League, but I'm gonna continue to post about it and bring you a weekly round up of the action.

My aim is to bring awareness and promote the game. If I can gain one fan to the game by October, then it will be worth while.

I casually follow Rugby League.

And heck there's way more offensive threads on here that can have pages and pages of arguing, so for me personally this is a nice change.

It's Derby day

What better way to introduce yourself into rugby league, then by watching one of the great British sporting occasions, the Hull Derby. Sky sports 7pm, kick off 7.45pm.

For us here, this is the equivalent of Everton v Liverpool, Man Utd vs Man City, Bristol Rovers vs Bristol City, Villa vs Birmingham, Rangers vs Celtic (without the religious eliment)

The KCom will be full, and the atmosphere will be electric, and Alf will be in attendance. Why would you want to miss out?

They play each other on Sunday afternoon at the KCom stadium. Hull. The league leaders vs the reigning champions.

The following week, St Helens play Sydney Roosters in the World club challenge.

Yes, but they got relegated 2 years ago. So are no longer in Super league. They've had financial issues lately.

I always feel sorry for Sports teams that go through financial difficulties, I'm amazed that no local businessperson will come in to save the club.
