It\'s no knees up for BB \'holiday\' winners
Quote:
It's no knees up for BB 'holiday' winners Charley and Brian have won a fiercly fought knobbly knees competition in the Big Brother house, bagging themselves a very British holiday in a 1970s caravan.
The pair's excitement at winning evaporated when they realised they were being sent to a caravan in the garden to feast on canned food, pork pies and Scotch eggs
Before they left, they were given suitcases with clothes such as knotted handkerchiefs, floral prints and brown sandals, with instructions to wear the contents.
"They are mugging us off good and proper," exclaimed Brian.
"I don't like this. It's not a good look."
"They're taking the p*** out of us," Charley moaned. "The clothes are disgusting!"
But others thought that being stripped of her habitual get-up did Charley good.
"Charley without her clothes is like Charley with no nails," said Gerry after inspecting the pair in their holiday spot.
"You know, she's nice and sweet without her clothes.
"She's not dangerous now."
Meanwhile, newcomer Liam has emerged as the clear favourite to win Big Brother having already secured an early £100,000 windfall.
The 22-year-old tree surgeon from Lanchester, County Durham, has secured the support of punters as well as his female housemates, who approve of his "normal" approach - if not his new-found wealth. His success follows three of his housemates handing him the cash bonanza in a surprise twist earlier in the week.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes cut the odds on Liam winning from 9/2 to 7/2 as betting took off. Ladbrokes spokesman Robin Hutchison said: "Liam seems to be the most normal person in there and is very much in demand among the female housemates and the punters.
"We saw a lot of money on our internet site overnight following Seany's eviction with people spending their winnings."
Seany was booted out last night after receiving 44.5% of the public vote.
The 25-year-old charity worker became the second housemate to be evicted from the house, over fellow nominees Carole and Jonathan, who was the favourite to leave.
