After losing his Presidency, what happens next? Realistically!

I know people say he'll stay in the White House after Jan 20th and get shot, or that he'll spend the rest of his life in Jail. I don't see that happening tbh.

I feel like he'll carry on moaning on twitter, and live pretty comfortably in the public eye (where he wants to be, and thrives).

Though i think if people really want rid of him, the best thing to do is to just ignore him. Stop talking about him etc..

He gets investigated for his tax crimes, investigated for all the crimes he committed in office, banks come after him for the hundreds of millions he owes them, his family lose the foreign business they got from his position, he’s going to have a pretty bad year or two I’d imagine

Well, unless he plays the game, steps down and gets Pence to pardon him for whatever he’s done, he’s definitely going to be investigated for everything they’ve got on him, that’s without question

the honest answer is no-one really knows. Some of it is in his own hands, some not. If he concedes he can then leave with at least a sliver of dignity, but i don't think that has ever been a concern for him.

He cant stay past his end date. It's not determined by court action, his term ends in january. There is no legal way he could stay on beyond that

Once he is gone, it gets complicated. There are vast multiples of legal cases pending that were suspended for the duration of his presidency, they will be resumed. He has 1 billion of personal loans to repay in the near future that he doesn't have the means to repay. There are endless scenarios of how all that could all pan out

There's just too many crimes to ignore, especially with a blue administration that won't likely look the other way.

He may eventually face some charges, I don't think he'll do any prison time nor will he ever be properly "broke", he'll most likely retire to a golf course like I said on the other thread. He'll tweet regularly about how bad the Dem presidency is and how much better things would have been if he was still President - if Twitter doesn't ban him permanently.

Once he loses his presidency and gets booted out the white House, his power is gone .

I can’t see him running for 2024 idk I think covid was a wake up call for some of his more sensible supporters (oxymoron I know) and there are gonna be people that think he’s the best thing ever no matter what but I also feel like his behaviour in the following weeks/months could put quite a few off him. The pundits will support him no matter what because they get paid to do so but not regular people who have to deal with the consequences of how he handled covid or the possible riots/civil war these events proceeding this election could incite
