Big Brother 8 winner Brian Belo joined the HOLLYOAKS cast on set today as he performed as an extra for the show. Find out what he had to say...
This year's Big Brother winner Brian is a huge fan of HOLLYOAKS, and was thrilled to find out he could appear on the show when he left the house. Brian turned up bright and early this morning to appear in the background of the show and meet some of the cast and crew, including his favourite HOLLYOAKS babe Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes) and the show's producer Bryan Kirkwood.
"Oh my days, I can't believe I'm really here at HOLLYOAKS!" said Brian. "I was in a scene earlier with Hannah, Nancy, and Sarah. I was sat at a table ordering some food in Il Gnosh, it was amazing." After filming, Brian was taken on a tour of the set and was able to meet some of the people who work on making his favourite show.
Brian said: "I've been shown around all the sets and they're really, really small in real life. I've also been onto the McQueen's set with Jenny who plays Mercedes. We sat on the bed and had a chat, she was so lovely and she gave me a signed calendar. I've text my mates, they're all well jealous!"
Brian also met Nick Pickard (Tony), and made sure he has his photo taken with some of his favourite cast members. "It was wicked! It's been a brilliant day," he said, grinning from ear-to-ear as he left. Make sure you keep an eye out for Brian, who's set to sneakily appear in the background of the show in the coming weeks.
